Shooting in the fog
So most photographers wont or don't like shooting when its cloudy or foggy. I have found it to be rewarding to say the least. This first picture is the first one that made me realise that these types of photos are kinda cool. Plus this is the most famous Grizzly on the planet right now. Meet Bear 399 and her not one, not two, not three, but four cubs. I took this photo back in 2020. The fog was thick as you can see. Having just the outline of the five of them like this is just such a cool vision. And so this was the catalyst for me and pictures in the fog. I made a trip this week to capture wildlife in the fog, and the other photos that fallow are the ones from that trip.
The two above are showing just how thick the fog was that day.
The two above are a couple of my favorites from that day. The next is a Kestrel that gave me the chance to shoot him looking in every derection. The best one to me is the one where he is looking straight at me.
The last two are of Snow Geese. I didn't think they would turn out, but they did.
