A few more shots from Turnbull wildlife reserve

I know I said I would do a post a few days ago, but work has been crazy and I am doing two trips out for photos this weekend and I am preparing for that. I have a few photos that I would like to share before my next trip tomorow. So this first photos is one I had to chase down. It took me about 100 yards to get this photo. I know 100 yaards isn't that far but its a bug so theres that.
The rest of the photos I'll just post and not bore you with chatter.
So look for my next post, I don't know if I will do a post for each trip or put them both together as one. Thanks for stopping by.

We interrupt part #2 of "Trip to Turnbull" sort of, yeah its like that

Sorry to jump a blog post ahead on you, but things happen and sometimes its for the better. This is one of those times. I have been planning on getting a new camera for a while now and had been saving up to do just that. Last week though the camera gods smiled on me and I not only was able to get the camera I wanted, I was able to get the lens and adapters and even some extra batteries. Now all this without dipping into my savings so thats a bonus. So now that I got all that I needed to go test it out, so where did I go? Why I went to Turnbull National wildlife resurve naturely. The camera I got is the Canon R7, its a mirrorless crop sensor. So that means that all my EF lenses wouldn't work with the camera inless I put an adapter on the lens. Now when I am spending that kind of money I do my resurch so I new what I needed and how I would configure the camera for my type of photography. I dub thee "Shaggy"

Day one in Yellowstone wasn't a big bear day. (Not that day two was either) I seen one Black Bear cub and couldn't get a good photo of it as I was stopped on the road with no where to pull over. I snapped a quick shot of it in the shade as it was walking away from me. Not worth posting the photo of so I wont. (see how I am) Day two I seen two count them TWO Black Bears. One was petty far away but the photos turned out okay-iish so I will post one for the first photo of this blog. see if you can find it. The second one was much, much closer and I was able to get some really good shots of it eating Ants, Termites and or Grubs. (I wasn't that close to see what it was eating) It tore into a log at one point and was digging in the ground as well as walking along logs and eating something.
